1. Technical Guide to Sand in Golf

In Bunker, Golfers need to use the principle that balls are important to achieve high accuracy. Place the ball in the center of the leg and keep the center of gravity on the back leg. This helps to create a stable and straight line.

Step 1: Point the Ball Properly For best accuracy, point the ball near the base of the bat and raise the bat vertically. This helps create a hit at an appropriate angle, reducing the risk of the ball rolling too far from the target.

Step 2: Prepare for Strike Before making a hit, check the surrounding terrain and identify your target. This helps you predict the movement of the sand and adjust your hitting technique accordingly.

Step 3: Practice Arm and Body Movement Proper movement of the arm and body is a key element in sanding techniques. Focus on moving your arms and body consistently to ensure stability and accuracy in each stroke.

2. How to choose the right bat to polish in the sand

Choosing the right bat for hitting the sand in Golf is a decisive factor for the success of the hit. Here are some instructions to help you choose the right sandbar:

2.1. Select Sand Wedge Stick (SW) or Lob Wedge (LW)

  • Sand Wedge (SW): This stick usually has an inclination of 54 to 58 degrees. It is used for common sand situations and is a popular choice.
  • Lob Wedge (LW): This bat has a large inclination, usually over 58 degrees, which helps raise the ball quickly and provides rotation.

2.2. Define Field Conditions

If the field has soft sand and a high slope, a SW or LW can help you lift the ball and control it more accurately.

In hard sand or complicated terrain conditions, SW can be the right choice for rotation and ball control.

2.3. Check the tilt angle and length of the handlebar

The tilt angle of the bat affects how you lift the ball and control the sand. A stick with a greater inclination will produce a hit at an appropriate angle.

The length of the handle is also important. A shorter handle can provide better control in the sand stroke.

2.4. Field Test

  • Experiment with various sandbars on the field to feel their sense and performance in real-world conditions.
  • Pay attention to what it feels like to hit, especially about the feeling of shadows and control.

2.5. Understanding Personal Engineering

Understanding your personal skills is also important. If you have strong arm technique, you can choose the stick with a larger inclination to take advantage of that power.

2.6. Consult the Experts and the Players Group

Read reviews of sandbars from experienced players or participate in Golf forums to get comments from the community.

Choosing the right sand bat is a test and adjustment process. You may need time to experiment and understand which clubs best suit your golf style and technique.
